Alba Martín Campos

I'm a data journalist and information designer. I combine journalism, design and technology to turn complex information into visual stories that help make better sense of reality. Above all, I'm drawn to the power of design as a tool to think, communicate and understand in a deeper, more critical way, beyond aesthetics.

That curiosity has always led me to look for new ways of telling stories: first through digital tools to create infographics, analyze data and build visualizations; today I also explore how artificial intelligence can be an ally to research and develop narratives.

Here I gather a selection of projects that reflect my evolution, including my work in fact-checking and transparency —data analysis to verify information and fight disinformation—. A way of working that still guides what I do.
